LUCKY CAR Company History

2007

It all started in 2007. What Managing Director Mr Matić saw as a lack of reasonably priced, customer friendly car repair shops led him to order an in-depth analysis of the market and develop an innovative and new concept.

The competition was thoroughly scrutinised and discussed and once a plan had been formed, the brand itself and the style and layout of the shops were considered and designed. And so the brand Lucky-Car was born!

What followed were numerous tests of various paints, paint suppliers and materials, and of course the international patenting of the brand Lucky-Car.

The next step was to design and complete the franchise handbook in order to gain the necessary certificates required in Austria. The handbook contains all the relevant information for partners regarding measures, guidelines and regulations within the Lucky-Car system.

During the course of the tests particular attention was paid to the standardisation and quality of the respective products.

Terms and conditions were laid down during negotiations with suppliers and dealers and finally contracts were signed ensuring long term commitment.

2008

In 2008 the first Lucky-Car branches were opened. The premiere was celebrated in Brunn am Gebirge (Mödling/Lower Austria).  Then came the shop in Klosterneuburg (Lower Austria), which serves as a flagship shop, and shortly after that the first shop in Vienna which is located at Handelskai.

2009

Further partners of Lucky- Car were found through various franchise forums and as a result of specific marketing activities (appearances at various fairs).

Next came the shops in the 12th district in Vienna (Breitenfurter Str., Altmannsdorfer Str.) and then the opening of partner branches in St. Pölten and Schwechat.
The appointment of Mr Christian Liewald as sales manager (key account acquisition) has ensured additional input and assistance for franchise partners.

Shops in Vienna`s 3rd district and in Wiener Neustadt are in planning for 2010.

The management aims to extend and strengthen the position as market leader in minor repairs on a national and international scale.
